To all who asks questions of language... (65.95.71.34)
I, the great Yang Sei Fu of Densetsu.com, am tired of answering the repeated questions of old games and Japanese language stuff...so here it is:

1: If you can't see the Japanese, go get NJStar if it's Windows. Unlikely you will have problems with JIS in DOS.

2: If you don't understand the game's language, go do following choices: Get a translation or study Japanese.
2a: TRANSLATIONS: Most famous games, like Kanon (KEY, 1999), have people translating all text inside the game. Not all games have such a luxury, especially the small, worthless little... anyways, if you see no walkthrough (that is in English) or guides or saves (usually save file sites are in JAPANESE...)...I suggest you try 2b.

2b: Learning Japanese: This is the ULTIMATE solution to your Japanese language problems! Learning the language once and for all in your local school board may solve your problems! If you can't find any in your school board, try looking online and pay money! Learning a language is good! Bugging people for translations or quickfix pills IS DEFINITELY NOT THE SOLUTION!

3: OS Problems: If DOS doesn't work, chances are you Windows stuff is too new. Try asking at any computer newsgroup and you'll know that Win2000kp and above (esp. XP) have abandoned (and shunned) DOS badly...

So, if you're lucky enough to read this, be quiet before I withdraw my sword and slice whatever I find...including you!!! (Roars)

P.S. I do not tolerate poor English form! Write your stuff in proper tense and grammar, esp. CAPITALIZATION whenever you need it!

Dear user Yang Sei Fu, I will need some answers before I reply you back with a proper answer
and some useful advise;

1) Where can you get NJStar if it's not included in your computer ? By Intenet or purchasing one by any computer outlets ?

2) Where can you learn Japanese on the Internet ?

3) You should recommend some programs to those annoying users or just don't do anything at all because you are not helping around. I know you wrote some unimportant stuff in certain users problem because I saw a couple of unwanted messages all written by you.

4) If you will like to complain about people's English, you shouldn't post a help site here. As everyone knows, some people can't really write well in English due to the fact some country doesn't have what is well known as Perfect English. Therefore you shouldn't write something to offend the user that post on this site.

5) Most of all, I totally agree for what you have written down in most pages and your contribution for this site. But ... if you can try not to annoy people by your nonsense and if you hate reading all those annoying questions DON READ IT AT ALL !

(Responding to ComanderXYZ)

1.NJStar is a software program that helps you write and translate between Japanese and English, among other languages.

2.You can learn Japanese on the internet via the Quick and Dirty Guide to Japanese.

3.I concur. Fu fu's a bad boy. :P

4.Everyone enjoys Bishojo games, even the Mexicans. What's sad is the foreigners who speak better English than most natives. Correct forms of writing English varies by region. (Ex."humour" "humor", etc.)

5.Some people are gluttons for punishment, and will read bright yellow text if it means having something to say about it later. XP

( Responding to Delfire )

1) I mean WHERE to get that program, not what is it.

2) What do you mean by "the Quick and Dirty Guide to Japanese" ?

3) Yeah, he's a bad boy. HEHE (Sorry, no offend)

4) That's the reason why Yang shouldn't scold certain people. They can't help it as their English is truly poor. ( Pity them, don't bully them back )

5) SOME users only I mean, not everyone.

Sorry if I offend you user Yang Sei Fu.

Sorry! ^o^

You can download NJStar at http://www.njstar.com/ .

The Quick and Dirty Guide to Japanese is a webpage written with the intent of explaining breifly the details of the language. You can check it out at:
http://users.tmok.com/~tumble/qadgtj.html

One more thing. If you're doing something crazy like trying to read a Japanese website and don't know any kanji, you can translate the entire page with World Lingo's web translator, found here: http://www.worldlingo.com/products_services/worldl...

(Beware though, the results are in Engrish. Ex. "Hot merchandise items in the midst of sale!"

First, Thanks for the information about NJStar.

Second, I don't really understand what the website is all about.

Third, I'm currently using a web translator babelfish.altavista.com but thanks for the information. (^_^)
