 need help w/ Windows XP, Desire (12.226.155.193)
Ok, I can't seem to get Desire to work on my laptop that uses Windows XP...it works fine on my old W98 desktop, but no matter what I do to the compatibility mode it won't work...any ideas as to what i can do?

oh yes, i forgot to mention...i only seem to have this problem with disc 1...disc 2 strangely works fine. of course, i can't do anything with disc 2 until i get through disc 1...

Right click on the exe file for the game and change the compatability mode to windows 98...

Sorry, heres a more detailed explanation..
right click on teh exe file and select properties.
Then select compatability tab
Check the 'Run this program in compatability mode for (change to win 9
and then click apply and then ok..
