Mad Paradox is one of the very first, if not the first, hentai RPG game that ever made its way to the US. As there isn't much English hentai game and thus even less hentai RPG game, the release of this game means a lot for RPG fans.

In this game, you are Mash, an orphan raise by a town elder. Mash just reaches maturity and is told by the elder of his past. His father is a nobleman who once challenges a villain from the darkside to a duel in order to rid the evil from their world. However, he lost. Thus, the darkside takes hold of the world and the world has been declining ever since. The elder wants Mash to finish the task his father aspires to complete and Mash willingly takes the challenge to destroy evil as well as for revenge.

This game has the typical RPG battle scenes. Here, each character (up to three character can join depending upon the course of action during your travel) has a health and magic bar. The health bar diminishes as you are attacked while the magic bar diminishes as you use magic. Both can be restored by resting and with items. In actual combat, you can either attack, use magic, use item, and flee. Magic spells are acquired through level gains. It is very basic, nothing out of the ordinary. However, the battle scenes are unbearably slow, thus distancing the game from the player.

The graphics for this game is terrible, from battle scenes to hentai scenes. There isn't any joy to go through the agony of combat for hentai scenes because the hentai scenes are a disappointment. By the way, hentai scenes comes after you complete a quest by killing some evil monster and saving the girl.

Story: 1/10 - There isn't much to the story. Just a typical RPG plot with a kid who decides to find out his father.

Gameplay: 1/10 - Pretty simple, not much to it. Standard console RPG-like system where you enter simple battle commands. Otherwise, you just wander around.

Graphic: 2/10 - H-scenes are barely acceptable. And the extremely out-dated CRT display just hurts your eyes if you stare at the game for too long.

Music: 1/10 - Plain. No sound effects in battles. And lots of statics in the background music too.

Overall: 1/10 - Do not even touch this game, unless you only understand English and nothing else and want to play a RPG where you understand what is going on.
