Not much can be said about "Kiddy Grade". "Kiddy Grade" is a 24-episode Gonzo series that came out last year. Going through various scenarios, mankind has been united. However, don't think that life is like a rose garden at all. There are still disputes.
This is why you have GOTT, a secret organization. Agents Eclair and Lumiere are two girls with wonderful abilities. They will do whatever it takes to obtain peace. One has to wonder, "What is the background of GOTT?"
Early on, "Kiddy Grade" had been getting a lot of mixed views. Some people enjoyed it. Others didn't. Me? Well, read on to find out.
Art - 9
Some people early on would say, "Ho hum. Another fan service series." Okay, it can be a bit bouncy, but it's more than that. You have to admit that the art does look good. I can't explain why I subtracted a point, but it's definitely not because of the fact that it does look like a fan service series from a first impression's point of view. Maybe it's one bit I will never know.
Story - 7
Not the best story in the world, but it's still okay nevertheless.
Audio - 10
The music is pretty catchy if I do say so myself. The seiyuu were doing their job as always. I especially like Eclair's sassy seiyuu.
Fun - 7
As much as I don't want to deduct points here, I have to. Sure, it's fun to watch. Sure, it has a lot of style. I am deducting points because it does take a while to develop and it definitely is a hit or miss anime in terms of many cases like trying to attract people to watch this. Other than that, there's not much else to say.
Life - 7
If you can get past the problems I have already mentioned, this can be a good series to keep in the long run.
Overall - 8
Though I gave "Kiddy Grade" an 8, this is a hit or miss series from my point of view. If you haven't seen this series yet, watch a few episodes and judge it for yourself if it suits you. That is all I can say.
