The story takes place in a European village in the Middle Ages.
During the daytime it is a very normal yet joyous town. However, after the sun sets, monsters will lurk all around town
and attack people which raises concern about the town's security.
As a result, the town sets up a guild of hunters. These hunters go around at night
and kill the monsters they encounter. Most of the hunters are doing so for the money paid by the guild,
and they rarely reveal their true identity to anyone.The player's name is William Smith, commonly known as Will. In the daytime Will is a geeky part-time history teacher who wears overly large glasses, but at night he changes to a totally different character and becomes a hunter and fights against monsters that lurk around town.
