The TokiMemo Review -- Injustice! (65.95.72.128)
Such a good game...so short and brisk review...

That does it! Some time soon I'll write another review of it (I'll write about my experiences with the SNES version!)

Grr...this is injustice!

i hate to burst your bubble but i see you are a tokimeki memorial fan... as you can see i did most of the tokimeki memorial reviews and even though it really does no justice keep in mind those reviews were the first ones to be sent in to the site. You can say all the injustice you want about it but I have played all four versions, PC-FX, playstation, SNES, and win95 version. It is true a lot of the old reviews need to be re editted because if you do a simple comparison between the Tokimeki Memorial 1 and Tokimeki Memorial 2 review, there lies more substances in the later. Why? Because the first one was done in 1997 when nymph did not specify a format and all reviews were done by very few reviewers who just wanted to share their idea and how great (or awful) a game was so people can be more knowledgable before buying the game...

ok, I have improved the Tokimeki Memorial review a little bit, but I haven't played the game for almost half a year so I have no idea if I missed anything. Also any screen captures would be nice as I am not at home and cannot locate the physical game currently.

Much better.
I see that you don't have a number rating system on it. After some thought I think it's better this way. REASON: It's too good, it'll go off the scale.

Good job. Try to space out your paragraphs. After seeing that glob of text it makes me want to go.

BTW: How you doing Tabris... Long time no see... You still want access to the FTP site? How is your schooling doing? Did you pass everything... It's been a while!

I guess if people wanna write new reviews, I can set it up that there can be multiple reviews for each game. I'd have to program it though. Either that or we would just choose the best review and add it. What do you suggest?

Re: The TokiMemo Review -- Injustice! (209.232.55.126)
Well, I believe my paragraphs should remain simply because the story and gameplay tie closely together and by separating the story and gameplay into different paragraphs would lead to thinking that there might be some separation between the two. But this game revolves around both the basic story of High School dating and High School status building. And for people who do think that the paragraphs are too big to go through, there are always the thing called first paragraphs where people read through and decide if they want to read on or not. In a professional paper, it would be the executive summary or the abstract. People can just read the first paragraph and if they are interested read on about the story and gameplay or they can jump directly to the end and read the pros and cons about the game. As you said about the scale, I never believe in scale measurements because they are very subjective. Games graphics and sound always get better from the better consoles and software packages, gameplay is taken in observation with respect to other games currently, and to tell the truth, some of the game play for the games now a days lack exactly the title of game play. There is no wonder why mario brothers, zelda, secret of mana, final fantasy 2 and 3, super contra, and all the classic games remains classic when all the rest fades away.

BTW: yeah long time no see! Well my schooling is good, I am trying to finish my masters now and thats pretty hectic. I just added you to my icq again so I will continue our conversation there...

As for reviews, I believe more reviews per game might be a good idea since other people can have different opinions. I will also talk to you about this over icq.
